"What type of Photographer am I?" is a question the comes to my mind a lot...
Should I define myself by the type of photography that accounts for the majority of my income?
I am Trevor - The International Fashion Photographer
Employed and working full time for a global fashion brand as been a great journey as far. There are A lot of tight deadlines and even tighter budgets which has enabled me to learn how to overcome some really great challenges. Gear limitations has to be one of the largest challenges to overcome. I know, I know, you don't need the best gear to make a great image. I agree with that up to a point.

Tricky lighting situations is where having a really good dynamic range camera will help you deliver a usable final image.
It has been really cool to see my work up on billboards, in stores, and I even had images up Times Square in New York. I wish I could have seen it in person.
...Maybe, I'm a Fashion Photographer.
I am Trevor - Portrait Photographer
I like a good portrait. Simply put, I like to shoot what I like.
I lean towards natural light photography, but, I find myself using additional lighting or full studio lighting 85% of the time. Can you spot the 3 out of the above 20 images that are only naturally lit?
I am Trevor - Automotive Photographer
Keeping on the theme of shooting what I like. Ever since I was a young boy anything automotive related fascinated me. Seeing all those cool photographs of cars in magazines lead me down the natural progression to getting out and shooting those cars myself.
Seeing this images hanging on dealership walls and shared via the owners pages makes me smile. Maybe I am inspiring the next generation to find a love for cars and maybe even photographing cars.
I am Trevor - Photographer
I guess it doesn't matter what type of photographer I am. There is no need to put your self in an arbitrary box by labeling yourself one thing or another.
Get out there, do what you like.
